The affiant Jeff Smith says he has reasonable grounds and does believe that Alvin Oaks and Jesse Eldridge has committed the offense in Breathitt County, Kentucky on 20 day of July 1911, amounting to Murder by shooting and wounding B. F. Smith with guns and pistols loaded with powder and leaden balls or other hard and explosive substances from which shooting and wounding from which the said Smith did then and there die a, against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and against the Statutes in such cases made and provided.
