Indictment for Willful Murder

The Grand Jury of Breathitt County, in the name and by the authority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, accuse
Ed Strong (of Color)
of the crime of Willful Murder
committed as follows, to-wit, on the 20th day of May 1912
in the County and Circuit afresaid, did unlawfully, willingly, and feloniously and with his malice afrethought kill and murder Jesse Crawford by shoting at and wounding him with guns and pistols loaded with powder and leaden ball and other hard and explosive substance witht he felonious intent to kill Jesse Crawford from which shooting and wounding Jesse Crawford did then and there die.

Contrary to the form of the Statute in such case made and provided, and against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
